This book hurt in the most wonderful way. Grief is so big but this was beautiful and gives you a lot to think about in life and death and the connections you make with people

I'm holding in full choking, body wracking sobs after that ending scene. This series has changed my life, and I never want it to end. I need to lay down and just process how much I love these boys for a while.

What an end to a series i haven't been able to stop thinking about since I started it.
Took a while to get my hands on a copy of brothersong, but it was well worth the wait.
TJ Klune puts so much emotion into all his works, it make my chest ache while i read and fall in love with everyone. Family is always such a big theme in his books as well as dealing with trauma, grief and insecurities.
This series made me remember there …Read More

oh i love a bit of silly forbidden slow burn so much. I really enjoyed this prime minister x prince romance it was funny, sweet and just a good balm for the soul of two men falling in love after unlikely circumstances bring them together. Jax has become a fav author with this series.
I was frustrated with the rules around how they couldn't stay together if callum remained prince and oliver PM, i would have liked to see oliver …Read More

this was my first dip into "horror novels" so to speak. Picked it from a reddit thread of recommendations but honestly.... I wasn't scared or shocked by it. It was good writing, I just think it wasn't to my personal tastes. I think it's mostly because i prefer human horrors without supernatural influence and more psychological or thriller aspects than this contained. I'd still recommend it to people who like outside forces c …Read More

Freya is simply marvellous at world building. Theres so many details just peppered in to make the fantasy world so real without being overwhelming or boring with details - i found myself hungry for information as I read. All the gods and the world built around guilds and trades was something I have missed from recent fantasy novels, it made the society feel so alive.

I had seen spoilers before I started reading so a lot of t …Read More

I put off reading this for so long because I knew I needed to prepare myself.
My god did I enjoy it. Jacob is not a good man but honestly, almost everyone but Zeb, Izzy and Caro were debatably not good people. Theres so much selfishness and pain they all inflict on one another due to their own desires and goals.
The continuation of what is most likely schizophrenia in Jacob but experiencing it in a time when there's not any …Read More

Incredible. Read it over 3 days between work and didn't want to put it down. So excited for the next.
I'm not much of an Addam/Rune fan but I'm hopeful for a development of Rune/Brand in the next book with the dialogue from the end.
The politic mess introduced I love it. I love political drama involved in these books to break up the find bad guy fight bad guy. I'm so into the development of that part of the world next book. …Read More

This hurt so good. I can't stop thinking about Mark and Eddie. Grief and anger and fear are so big and this book explored so much of those feeling. It was so beautiful how everything came together and the reminder that there's always tomorrow and more days and good things after the bad.

Over all loved it.
The world building and detail put into explaining things without being overwhelming is something I appreciate immensely. Also the solid lore and rules on magic use is so refreshing after so much having little dictation on how magic works or comes from.
The combat scenes felt a bit odd in their description compared to the rest of the book but the almost video game style progression was really cool to see wr …Read More
