Gone to See the River Man

Review by Charlemagne

Gone to See the River Man

this was my first dip into "horror novels" so to speak. Picked it from a reddit thread of recommendations but honestly.... I wasn't scared or shocked by it. It was good writing, I just think it wasn't to my personal tastes. I think it's mostly because i prefer human horrors without supernatural influence and more psychological or thriller aspects than this contained. I'd still recommend it to people who like outside forces contributing to horror but it just wasn't for me.
