The Unlikely Heir

Review by Charlemagne

Jan 8
The Unlikely Heir

oh i love a bit of silly forbidden slow burn so much. I really enjoyed this prime minister x prince romance it was funny, sweet and just a good balm for the soul of two men falling in love after unlikely circumstances bring them together. Jax has become a fav author with this series.
I was frustrated with the rules around how they couldn't stay together if callum remained prince and oliver PM, i would have liked to see oliver maintain a political career but I do like a HEA most of all for them.
to other readers who enjoyed this, i can also recommend the charm offensive; love hate and clickbait; red white and royal blue (obviously), and boyfriend material. (don't go into this or any of the recs with wanting accuracy or without funny silly tropes, they're meant to be fun to read don't take things too seriously and let that ruin the enjoyment)
This book is definitely in my cozy comfort shelf now.
