I do like a good story but I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a romantic. I would much rather consider myself cold hearted when it comes to fluffy love stories but somehow stripped yellow and black pants have snuck themselves into my soul.

This book was a short read but extremely enjoyable. Kind of made me realize how important it is to be a part of a good community and have relationships that are meaningful and help you evolve in better ways. The author introduces us in the first half to a woman who is dumped by her boyfriend and hence falls into depression, while the second half focuses on her uncle who's bookshop she decides to work at. Finally decided to read the book after watching the movies way too many times and My God it was sooo good! One of the few times where the movie and the book is done right. Bawling out and reaching out for tissues even after knowing the story.

Meatball gave me the ick. I'm critically picky when it comes to romance books but this one was one of the few times where the genre is done right! The characters were solid and the banter was pretty engaging. Mariana zapata is the kind of author who you go in with high expectations and come back with even higher and I surely have now experienced the effect.

Could t finish the book!! The start was pretty good! It was engaging and intriguing but the characters were annoying especially the fl was irritating and the whole lying to best friend was so unnecessary. But I did enjoy it until I got the ick and dropped the book midway.

If I ever learn to fly a plane, I would very much like to run over miles and crush him to pieces and then have my license revoked. And tate, please grow a fucking spine!!

Maybe I'm just not made for these kind of books. I did not want a what to do to be better and loose bad habits I wanted to be able to really apply stuff I read irl. But alas, this book was a disappointment. Another self help book that's all talk and no work!

Liked the book and liked the movie even more. Was a good read and satisfied my desire for some good fluff. The only con being the glamorized and idealized political views. If it were just two gay guys falling in love and having their happy Disney ending, I would be much happier.

Mr. Darcy really said,"your honest rejection had me confront parts of myself that everyone was afraid to point out, you had me sitting with my pride and made me unlearn several things i firmly believed in". Enjoyed the movie very much but maybe I'm just a biased fan of Keira knightley and have gotten the hots for her, but hey who can blame me. About the book it was decent and I religiously skimmed throught most of it all. I …Read More

I'd rather prefer being illiterate than reading this shit again! This genre just isn't for me. But I've seen few authors do this genre in a respectful way before. This was an instant dnf because who the fuck has thoughts like that?!

The writing was extremely boring. I skimmed through a lot. Between trying to love the book and simultaneously hating the pace and writing, I eventually lost the meaning entirely.

Is a human equivalent of a literal animal the new standard of what a perfect book boyfriend is? Because Alex was just a grunting and glaring mess that I could not grow on till the very end. This gave me trauma I can never ever recover from.
