loved it. so close to being a 5 for me. I loooooved Logan, and Matt and Paul are amazing too. It's well written, the sexual tension was palpable and hot af. The only thing keeping this a 4/5 is the ending felt too rushed. I know there is a follow up, but it didn't feel like there were any real consequences to Kit leaving. she made that huge sacrifice, the thing that had been built up as negative the entire book, and then in …Read More

I think I spent 50% of this book tearing up? Lily Mayne is a goddess for taking what is undoubtedly the most "monstrous" hero yet and making me ready to cry over him. This book turned me into a giant pile of goo. I literally melted for Seraph and Lilac. Absolutely love it.

I can see why everyone loves this book so much, and while I liked it I didn't fall over myself loving it. MCs with crippling insecurities have never really been my jam. Otherwise a fantastic entry in the series.
Also Charlie's insistence on going back to the military was always a Big Dumb plan. Didn't love how long that option stayed part of the conversation.
