One of the best final books to a series ever. I like how masterfully Rowling wraps up everything she had been building across the 7 books. I've read this many times over the years and it never gets old.

TIL Netflix once accidentally sent porn DVDs to 5,000 people who had actually ordered tapes of Bill Clinton’s testimony. When they realized, they freaked out, sent apology letters to everyone, promised full refunds, and asked them to send the tapes back so they could replace them with the correct ones… not a single person returned it. 😂

Review for the whole series
I liked the art a lot. Every panel looks and feels like it was painstakingly drawn. I can see how Berserk shaped the manga industry as a whole.
Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the story. Griffith is practically a god in the later volumes. What’s the point of anything if you have such an overpowered villain? It’s not even like superman. He literally doesn’t have any weaknesses. Every action …Read More

It’s very “message”y. You see the writer’s hand, feel the themes being handed to you, and wish for more realness. Feels like it’s written for BookTok—lots of highlights, very quotable, not super lived-in.
