Review by Sean Penn: writer, actor, world stage
Jul 6What I was happy about?
It was a quick read.
Can I tell you what happened?
No, not really.
I, for whatever reason decided to take for a spin this book on my new Kobo Libra Color. I’m coming from an older 2017 era Paperwhite that I still love but got annoyed at being laggy and dumb.
Bob Honey was such an annoying book to read. The verbose vocabulary of Mr. Sean Penn is so tart and spunky. He’s so ingenious and voluminous. He’s so… so… full of putrid shit. This books sucked. I was blown away at how little was actually being said, big words being put down with only rhyme and no reason.
I found myself saying out loud several times, WHO CARES after reading certain passages. After awhile I just wanted to be done with this book.
I found the whole book bizarre. Honestly, it shouldn’t have been released. Too many yes men. Too many people going off of the brand of Sean Penn. Boo. The ending has a poem or whatever that he wrote, and it had a bunch of lines about ME TOO since it was probably written around 2017. Made me wish that Sean Penn was canceled and sent very far away. Pack up Bob Honey and send him home to Scottsdale.
