Everyone knows the out come, but Doris Kearns Goodwin delivers the insight to Lincoln, his wife, and his administration.  I just can't express just how good this book is.  Everyone should read it; we'd all learn a lot about life, history, and an uncompromised leader at the nations most difficult period.

Flowers for Algernon should be required reading for everybody. Maybe even required to be read every 10 years or so. And I am totally against the concept of "required reading."

Interesting topics, but the author seemed to dwell too much on his homosexuality and illnesses.
