Listen, I have ADHD and have dnf'd so many books it's not even funny (Even audiobooks! I mean, who can't finish a dam audiobook?? All you have to do is listen!) I just can't go on sometimes if a story doesn't hold my attention or if its predictable, etc...

I admit I came into this book with a 'wealthy white privilege' prejudice, but I thought, "Anderson Cooper will give us an unbiased view"... well, I was wrong.
When I started reading the one sided account of about poor Gladys being kicked out of the Breakers, I rolled my eyes and thought, "here we go...". Trying so hard to make her seem down to earth with how she polished the brass and would hang out with the staff...
