Apr 8, 2019I liked it. I liked Rikker a lot. I even liked Graham, even if he frustrated me for most of the book. The pacing was a smidge painful, tho. Because for 70% it felt like not much was happening. The first half kind of dragged as result. There was a lot of the boys avoiding each other, and a lot of Rikker dealing with being an openly gay athlete. But not a lot of progression for the relationship until the last quarter of the book. And while I like slow burns, I need more interactions between my mains for the first half of the entire book to feel the payoff. And it also wasn't entirely pleasing to me that it took Gran almost dying for Grahams butt to be kicked into gear about being out. Overall, it was a good read tho.
