Mettle

Mettle

It was pretty good. I don't really have the strongest feelings about this, which is both a positive and negative thing. It means I didn't hate it - there was nothing glaringly bad about this book. The plot was fine, I liked the characters. The writing was even decent. But there was nothing...more. I didn't love this. I didn't find it to be a page turner. I cared about what was happening but...I want to say it was almost predictable? It was just....not boring, exactly. But nothing spectacular. Which honestly sounds like a horrible review for this book, but I enjoyed it well enough. One of the better ones in the series so far for sure.
