Cute story. I enjoyed the family drama more than the romance, which was fine. I like the couple, but I wasn’t as invested in them as Cohen/Seth or Beck/Jacobs.
I felt like Asher sounded very different between the two narrators. Cendese’s was goofier while Toma’s was more brooding; as a result, sometimes the vibe of the scene was noticeably different when the POVs switched. It wasn’t a huge issue for me, but it was a bit distracting.
