Note: I put off writing the reviews since January (again). I'm slowly catching up. So my memory will vary according to how long ago I read it and how impactful it was.
I remember almost every detail about this because I loved it!
Unexpectedly another FAVORITE! So soon! Wow, it really did have almost all of the tropes I like, and it was also beautifully written.
Was it objectively perfect overall? No. Do I care? Also, no, becau …Read More

The descriptions were really nice, though some elements felt slightly forced—like the whole "activates me" thing, where the MC gets irritated by the other MC. The timeline also seemed a bit off at times, but nothing too distracting.
I liked that the story didn’t follow the usual script toward the end—there was no predictable temporary breakup just for the sake of drama, which was a nice change.
As for the next book in the s …Read More

I vaguely remember something—not enough, though, so I'll rely on my notes:
Eh. I expected more. I'm not sure why, though, since the premise was a bit silly to begin with. Uff, it started nice enough but then remained surface-level and unconvincing for some reas …Read More

I remember that I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I don't recall any specific details. Luckly I wrote some notes.
I wouldve liked a dual POV. But, since there was the topic of the MC's depression, it made sense that it was only from is POV. It was so very well w …Read More

REREAD May 1-4 2022: 5 stars, obviously.
I wanted to read the sequel immediately, to avoid wasting any time, I was so convinced of this that I hadn't reread this while waiting for the next book to come out. But, as soon as I started reading the new one, I realized that I wanted to remember every detail of the story and to have it fresh in my mind to enjoy any possible reference.

Unmemorable and a bit confusing. It took too many plot points for granted. I get that it's the 4th book in a series, but usually even in this case there are at least a few references that explain the main relationships, situations etc.

This book was wonderfully amazing! The story was genuinely heartwarming and cute. I loved every single character, and that is rare for me. Every one of them felt real and with its own story, and most of them interacted together.
Oftentimes I found myself smiling, grinning and even laughing at times.
Everything wrapped up nicely in the end, there were no questions/situations left unresolved, it was so satisfying! I hate it …Read More

Really cute and light-hearted read.
It ended nicely and it felt complete, so I really don't know why make a sequel, but I guess we'll see how it is.

Did not like it.
It takes tropes I usually love and completely ruins them. The characters act and say things without any realistic basis or motivations, changing their minds abruptly just to serve the plot. Everything felt so forced.
Right from the beginning, there was a whirlwind introduction of all the characters at the bar, setting up the "companion book" vibe with hints about future couples. This kind of thing always dis …Read More
