The Silent Patient

Review by Scribe After Five

Yesterday(edited)
The Silent Patient

This might honestly be my book of the month for July. It’s definitely one of those reads that actually lives up to the hype. I’m still frustrated I didn’t figure it out, but that’s exactly what made it so good. I love that Alex Michaelides doesn’t over explain things-he trusts the reader to piece things together, and the way he introduces characters leaves room for your own interpretation. Some chapters were tough to get through because the psychological parts felt a little too real, but that just made the story hit harder.

Overall such an amazing and unforgettable read.
