Apr 8, 2022OMG, this was beautiful, and fast paced! I have a hangover now!
Okay it could have been longer and more slowburn to be more realistic, but sometimes you just need a faster read, a quicky after reading so many longer books, too heavy ones or after listening to lots of 12 hour audiobooks. It was such a relief, a breather. I just ate it up in one sitting practically.
At least there were no annoying communication gaps, no conflict which could have been solved with a conversation. Their communication was perfect.
I love both the main characters, and the set up of Adam being a young single dad by his own choice blew me away as well as his preferences in guys!
The power dinamic between the 2 was also refreshing. Not the usual "older guy being in control" in the bedroom, and Adam made no big fuss about accepting that Ev offerred financial support for him..Sometimes the third act conflict is all about pride and emancipation. Whic is also valid, but I find it boring to see in almost every book.
I am not fond of children being in my Romance books, but Bella was friggin cool and not too much at all!
I found the stalking aspect intriguing...I mean this voyeur stuff is totally my cuppa :D Adam killed me with his dirty-dirty talk! And yess...here he goes on my Bookboyfriend list gay or not :D
This book is hot AF!! Jeyzus!
