The Geek Who Saved Christmas

Review by Kevin

Dec 17, 2024
The Geek Who Saved Christmas

This was absolutely cute and campy as was expected. However That's a feature not a bug. Its blurb says low angst and it is, but that feeling of a relationship quickly developing only to see a clock ticking on it really resonated.
The main characters starts of stereotypical but as the story progresses, we do see the layers underneath that helps break the mold. I can't help but see a bit of myself in both.

The only knock against this was the dialogue. I had to read over some parts to get back into the flow of the conversation between the characters as there big block of background information between dialogue.

The ending was predictable, wanted and satisfying.
I have new thoughts on Christmas. This book has done it's job.
