May 4The first time I came across DID was in Toni Colette’s TV show United States of Tara. The show was quite humorous but it gave me a base understanding of what this disorder entails. This book was not humorous whatsoever. It was a very complex and difficult story to get through. It was really different from other books I’ve read lately. Not everything was to my liking and it veered too much into ménage for my taste, but I found it impossible to put down. I read from when I woke up to when I went to sleep because I had to know what would happen next. Not a perfect book, but an important one. I will be thinking about it for a while.
