Feb 4I'm sorry Lily Mayne for giving book one three stars! I swear it was mostly because of the fart jokes! So what a delightful surprise it was to read the next book in the series and find that it’s everything I’ve ever wanted for when I’m in a silly goofy mood.
I was mildly annoyed by Larkin in book one, and Seb was just there, but in this book I absolutely fell in love with both of them. This had me kicking my feet and giggling like an idiot. It was cute, hot, and a surprisingly fast read despite being around 500 pages.
Pick this up if you’re in the mood for an age-gap romance with zero power imbalance, an older MC who is completely head over heels and a carefree virgin MC who falls just as hard. The only angst comes from these two idiots failing to realise the other is sooooo in love. Also the smut really worked for me in this book. Lily Mayne I will never doubt you again!
4.5 stars rounded up.
