Review by David
May 21, 2022A collection of very short takes on what Valentine and Lauraline is, interpreted by a large number of international comic artists.
The quality of the stories are quite varied, and other than the novelty of seeing what other artists view of the series, especially if one knows the previous works of said artists specifically, there is not much to experience here.
You have to be an extreme Valentine and Lauraline fan, and even then really enjoy non-sensical comic world crossovers or have a deep love for the art of comicbooks and the specific artists, to get much from this collection.
An interesting approach for sure, and there was a smile here and there when seeing the interpretations, but I won't read it a second time.
