Jim Dodge is that American novelist and poet with a thing for mixing folklore and fantasy while pretending time stands still. Not that he hasn’t earned it, though—he's got three novels under his belt: *Fup*, *Not Fade Away*, and *Stone Junction*. Some poetry and prose collection called *Rain on the River* also made its way onto the shelves, just to prove he really can play in the literary sandbox.
